Three Generations Dedicated to a Great Vision
Proud of Our Roots
In 1968, following a long business journey in the industrial sector serving agricultural needs, our family specialized in crafting a wide range of farming tools such as threshers and grain winnowers, almond hullers and peelers, and forage choppers for livestock.
Amid this largely traditional and artisanal work environment, a groundbreaking idea emerged:
"To invent and manufacture the first olive cleaning machine."
1970s: Beginnings, Research, and Fieldwork
Hand in Hand with Farmers and Olive Mills
In the early 1970s, the family business began to specialize.
Fully dedicated to the olive-growing industry, it perfected the first prototypes of olive cleaning machines, transforming them into competitive market products. This led to the rapid disappearance of traditional sieves and marked the beginning of a profound shift in the way work was conducted both in the fields and in olive mills.
In 1974, the company won **First Prize at the VIII Olive Grove Mechanization Competition**, awarded for a demonstration showcasing the performance and efficiency of the first olive cleaning machine.
**1980s: Cleaning Perfected and the Olive Washer is Born**
Washing Systems Revolutionize the Market
This era is marked by the expansion of cleaning equipment, which captured a significant share of the market due to its innovative and highly effective systems—unmatched at the time.
Alongside this progress, another groundbreaking project emerged, once again ahead of its time and representing a major leap forward for the industry: a revolutionary Olive Washing System. This system effectively removed heavy solid residues that traditional cleaning methods failed to eliminate.
The efficiency and success of this new Washing System were undeniable, earning it the "Silver Medal" at the 1987 Jaén trade fair (Expoliva '87).
1990s: A Generational Shift, the Drive Needed to Embrace New Times.
Technological Renewal, New Horizons
A revolution in design, new manufacturing methods, and even more advanced systems.
This is the time for a technical and image overhaul—a transformation of the family business to adapt to modern times. The ASIGRAN brand is born, symbolizing the incorporation of new generations to drive progress into the future.
New manufacturing approaches, resource optimization, production reorganization—in short, the pursuit of efficiency to reduce costs and increase competitiveness. The result: Establishing ASIGRAN as a brand of indisputable quality in the national market, with significant growth and potential in international markets.
Asigran Today
Recognized Prestige, Reliable Value
Currently, in moments of clear leadership in performance and quality, the olive cleaning and washing equipment manufactured by Asigran meets the most demanding expectations. Even today, our systems manufactured and installed 10 years ago outperform the average performance of competing systems currently being installed, even under the worst olive intake conditions.
At present, more than 900 cleaning and washing lines of the Asigran brand are fully operational, distributed throughout Spain and other olive oil-producing countries. These lines are the clearest and most direct evidence of Asigran’s expansion, which, thanks to its competitive advantages, maintains the most profitable quality/price ratio on the market.
Asigran centralizes its operations in facilities spanning approximately 20,000 m², of which 7,500 m² are dedicated to industrial warehouses, storage, and offices. In 2016, a new machining center was inaugurated, featuring a large storage capacity for raw materials as well as state-of-the-art laser cutting and automatic bending equipment, ensuring total control over all manufacturing processes.
Regarding logistics, Asigran boasts a comprehensive transport fleet, enabling highly responsive technical service throughout the year and nearly immediate assistance during the peak season. Additionally, all installations in Spain and other producing countries are executed using in-house resources.
